The Challenge

Managing personal finances is overwhelming for many individuals, especially when planning long-term goals like mortgages, retirement, or education savings. Existing solutions were either spreadsheet-driven and complex, focused only on short-term budgeting, or limited to a single financial domain. Prift needed an MVP that could simplify long-term financial planning without intimidating users.

The Solution

We designed a minimalist, user-friendly MVP that brings all personal finances into a single platform and focuses on long-term forecasting. Through competitor analysis, benchmark research, and feature prioritization using MoSCoW, we defined a clear core experience. Wireframes were tested and refined to ensure clarity, and flows were built to help users make informed decisions while maintaining regulatory compliance around financial advice.

The platform enables users to forecast finances 10–30 years ahead, receive personalized insights, track savings goals, manage debts, and compare savings and investment options, all without overwhelming them with financial jargon.
