Miko AI is an AI-powered companion robot and parent app designed to support children’s learning through play while keeping parents connected to progress, habits, and skill development via an intuitive, gamified mobile experience.
The Challenge
Miko 3 is an AI-powered companion robot designed to help children learn through play and conversation. However, the existing parent app was limited to basic device pairing and failed to keep parents meaningfully connected to their child’s learning journey. Navigation was complex, engagement was low, and parents lacked visibility into progress, habits, and skill development.

The Solution
We redesigned the Miko parent application with a focus on engagement, personalization, and clarity. Through discovery workshops, persona definition, and information architecture restructuring, we simplified navigation and redesigned user flows around real parental needs.
The app was enhanced with progress reports, goal-setting, and habit-building features that were gamified through badges and streaks. A bold yet playful UI aligned with Miko’s brand brought energy and warmth, while iconography and visual hierarchy made information easy to understand at a glance—even for non-technical users.
The Result
The redesigned Miko parent app now acts as a true companion for parents, helping them stay connected to their child’s daily learning and development. The experience feels intuitive, engaging, and emotionally reassuring—strengthening trust between parents, children, and the product.
