Prift

Prift came to us with an idea and an initial concept, and needed UI/UX design to turn it into a working MVP for a personal finance platform.

Prift is a personal financial assistant that unites a user's finances in one place and forecasts their financial future across 10, 20, or even 30 years. We shaped the product around long-term goals like mortgages, pensions, investments, and debt, keeping the experience simple, accessible, and clear for an audience aged 30 and over.

Project goals

The goal was to make the complex process of managing personal finances simple and understandable for everyday users, without leaning on excessive gamification.

We started with competitor and benchmark research, then prioritised features using a MoSCoW analysis to define a focused, must-have MVP. Wireframes were validated through A/B testing before moving into a restrained, minimalist interface. We also worked within UK financial-advice regulation, framing every forecast as an estimate and keeping the final decision with the user.

Result

We delivered a working prototype that turns long-term financial planning into a clear, guided experience.

Core features included personalised financial advice, savings-efficiency comparisons, goal tracking, and debt and loan management. We also designed a Make the most of your finance flow that guides users through paying off debt, funding goals, and investing surplus, plus a minimalist landing page to match the product.
