FAQ
Questions we get asked before a project starts.

Services
We design and build websites and digital products. In practice that means UX research and product design, interface design for websites and apps, and the front-end and back-end development to ship it. We work in Framer, Webflow, Shopify, and custom React and Next.js builds. Some clients come to us for one piece of that. Others hand over the whole thing from strategy through launch.
Both. Mobile applications, web and desktop applications, and marketing websites. Product work runs on a longer timeline than a marketing site, because research, user flows, edge cases, and interface states all take time that a brochure site doesn't need.
Yes. Theme-based builds and fully custom Shopify Hydrogen storefronts. Which one suits you depends on whether your catalogue is doing the selling or your storefront is. Broad range with standard products usually points to a theme. A small curated range where every page has to persuade usually justifies custom.
Yes. Logo and visual system, brand guidelines, motion, and launch collateral. For companies rebuilding their website it is often the first phase, since the site inherits whatever the identity establishes.
Yes, and it usually makes things faster. Send whatever exists at the start, even if it is incomplete. Working inside an established system removes a round of decisions that would otherwise need making from scratch.
Not by default. Most quotes assume you are supplying final copy, and missing copy is the single most common reason projects stall at ninety percent complete. If you need a writer, tell us early and we will bring one in rather than let the build sit waiting on words.
Pricing
Most custom marketing websites built by a studio land between five and fifteen thousand dollars. Below that you are usually on a template. Above it, you are usually buying product design as well, or a build with significant custom engineering. We will give you a range in the first proposal rather than after three discovery calls.
Retainers start at four thousand dollars a month for a dedicated design and development team. You get access to the range of skills a project needs, research, UX, interface design, front-end and back-end, rather than one person with one specialism. The mix flexes month to month as your roadmap changes.
Fixed scope, defined in a written statement of work before anything starts. You will know the deliverables, the number of revision rounds, the timeline, and the cost before you commit. Work that falls outside that scope gets quoted separately rather than absorbed quietly and surfaced later as a missed deadline.
Yes. A kickoff payment or retainer reserves capacity in our schedule, which means turning down other work for that window. The remaining structure is milestone based and set out in the statement of work.
Process
Around six weeks for a custom marketing site. Two to three weeks if you are moving fast on a template. Eight to sixteen weeks once product or app design is involved. Those are working numbers from real projects, and the variable that moves them most is how quickly feedback and copy come back to us.
Week one is discovery and information architecture, agreeing the structure before anything gets designed. Design comes next, homepage first since it sets the visual language everything else inherits. Then build, responsive implementation, and CMS setup. Then QA, cross-browser and mobile testing, redirects, and launch support.
A specific number, written into the statement of work, usually two rounds per stage. We avoid quoting unlimited revisions because it means nobody has defined what finished looks like, and that ambiguity always resurfaces later as friction.
One person with authority to approve, rather than a committee. Final copy, or an early decision that we are sourcing it. Brand assets and any platform access we need. And feedback batched into consolidated rounds instead of trickled comments, which produces better decisions as well as faster ones.
Working together
We are based in India and work with companies across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Our process is built around asynchronous collaboration, with live overlap scheduled for the conversations that genuinely need it. Handled well, the gap means work progresses overnight rather than slowing things down.
The people you meet. We are a boutique studio, so the person in your kickoff call is the person doing the work, not a senior name fronting a project that gets passed to juniors afterwards.
Yes. On full payment, ownership of the final deliverables created for your project transfers to you. We build on modular CMS-driven systems your team can operate without us, so you are not dependent on us for routine changes.
There is a short window for fixes as real traffic hits the site. Beyond that, ongoing work is either scoped as small projects or handled through a monthly retainer, depending on how much of it there is.
Book a discovery call. It runs half an hour, and beforehand you answer four short questions about what you are building, your budget range, and your timeline, so we arrive already understanding the shape of the project and can talk specifics instead of basics.
