Cluely
Cluely is an AI meeting assistant offering real-time transcription, notes, and contextual responses without joining calls as a participant, running directly on the user's device across Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, and Webex.
Scope of work: we designed three connected surfaces, the marketing website that introduces the product, the desktop app where most of the day-to-day AI assistance happens, and the mobile app for reviewing conversations on the go. As the product gained rapid traction, Cluely needed all three to feel like one coherent experience for professionals, sales teams, founders, and students. The challenge was explaining an invisible product, building trust around live AI assistance, supporting many use cases without fragmenting the story, and balancing simplicity with powerful features.

Project goals
Rather than emphasising the AI itself, we designed the experience around helping users stay engaged in meetings, connecting product marketing with everyday usage.
Our strategy followed four principles: demonstrate value immediately, reduce onboarding friction, keep users focused on conversations, and surface AI only when it adds value.
On the marketing website: we restructured the site into a clear narrative that explains what Cluely does before asking anyone to install it.
On the desktop app: we redesigned the dashboard, sped up contextual AI interactions, and reworked meeting notes into actionable documentation.
On the mobile app: we built a companion experience for reviewing transcripts, summaries, and meeting history away from the desktop, tied together with a single design system across all three.

Result
Cluely established a stronger digital experience across its website, desktop app, and mobile app that better communicates its position as a real-time AI meeting assistant.
The redesigned website simplifies the value proposition, helping visitors quickly grasp how Cluely differs from traditional note-takers, while the refined desktop application reduces friction during onboarding and everyday use. The mobile app extends that same clarity to reviewing conversations on the move. Streamlined navigation, improved hierarchy, and cleaner meeting workflows let users reach AI assistance, transcripts, and summaries more efficiently, and a unified design language across all three surfaces positions the platform for continued growth.
